Every listing names it. Label, catalog number, year, country. It links straight to that exact release on Discogs, so you can check me.

A reissue is listed as a reissue. It never rides on the original's name.

By hand, one at a time, on the Goldmine scale. The record gets a grade. The sleeve gets its own. A clean record in a rough sleeve is a different thing from the reverse. The price follows the record, since that's the part you listen to.

Anything a grade can't say goes in the condition notes. A mark that doesn't play. A split seam. Writing on the label. I'd rather undersell a record than talk you into one.

Most listings have short audio previews and videos of the release. They tell you about the music, not about my copy. For that, read the grades and the notes.

From the market, and it's all on the page. The "How I priced it" panel shows what I saw when I priced it. What copies have sold for. The cheapest one for sale right now. What the grade goes for. I aim to land about 10% under the going rate.

Most shops price a record off the exact pressing and then keep that to themselves. You end up guessing, and the guess usually costs you.

I'd rather you knew. If my price is fair, the numbers say so. If it isn't, they say that too.

Because it's a used shop. Every listing is one specific copy with its own grades and notes. It doesn't restock. When it sells, it's gone.

The page stays up, though. Sold records keep their listing and their price on the Sold page, so what a record went for stays on the record.

Buy now. It skips the bag and takes that one record straight to checkout. For when you already know.

Records are heavy. Shipping them one at a time is the most expensive way to move them. So the shop works in boxes. A box holds 12 records. A full box ships free anywhere in Canada. So does $250, whichever comes first.

Anything short of that ships at cost, worked out at checkout. An order that ships on its own needs to be $100 or more. Box holds and pickup go at any size.

It means I hold what you bought while you keep digging. Buy a record or two. Pick "Add to my box" at checkout. No shipping to pay. The box fills until it's full or you tell me to send it. A $20 record can start a box.

Otherwise sales are final. Every copy is graded before it's listed, and that grading is the guarantee. It's why the condition notes are as blunt as they are.
